20th Anniversary: Off to a Great Start!

The Philippine flag is raised at 2:30 in the afternoon at the Tagaytay Retreat and Training Center
at the start of a week-long gathering to celebrate 20 years of serving the Filipino poor.
CCT's long-awaited, much-prepared for 20th anniversary celebration got off to a lively, enthusiastic start in the afternoon of January 2, 2012.  Group yells, prayer for the country, a warm welcome from CCT President and Founder Ruth Callanta, and the launching of new logos of the nine CCT ministries were the highlights of the first afternoon session.

Shiera Ondangan and fellow VOH staff do
their group yell.
Pastor Ruel Castino prays for the nation and
for the CCT Group of Ministries.

A drum and lyre corps composed of children
 from Las Pinas welcome arriving
staff  with strains of  "Mabuhay."
A welcoming team greets staff from Visayas and Mindanao.

Staff head for the registration areas.
Pastor Jun Gonzaga leads the opening prayer.

Tintin Valdez leads the assembly in singing
Lord we want to lift your name on high,
Lord we want to thank you for the work you’ve done in our lives
Froi Parado reads the rationale behind the
new CCT logos.
