Silent Auction Raises 11T for Sendong Victims


The silent auction held during CCT's 20th anniversary staff celebration in Tagaytay raised exactly P11,345 for victims of the flash floods brought by Tropical Storm Sendong in December.

The highest bid  made was P800 by Romela Gabanes of the Sara, Iloilo branch for a set of Baguio-made bonnet and shawl donated by the Paranaque branch. The next highest bid was P750 made by Conrado Sogo-an Jr. of Cagayan de Oro for an original Guess wallet donated by Evelyn Pantoja of VOH/HO. The third highest bid was P700 by Pedro Gulandina of the Ulas, Davao branch for a set of kids terno, shorts and shirt donated by the Cabrera branch.

Bags made of native material and  a set of Tboli accessories also received high bids.
