VisMin Staff Go Shopping, Sight-seeing, Fun-Riding

Staff from the Visayas and Mindanao got to go shopping and sight-seeing, and enjoy fun rides at a theme park before flying back home after the 20th anniversary celebration in Tagaytay.

Rhea Gatchalian,  tour coordinator, said a total of 486 staff visited various destinations in Manila and Laguna and the Enchanted Kingdom. Rhea works at the  HO as information technology help desk support staff.

Staff who chose to go on Tour 1 visited the CCT Training and Development Institute campus in Magdalena, toured Luneta, and  went shopping in Divisoria before proceeding to Enchanted Kingdom late in the afternoon. Staff who joined Tour 2  visited several places in Laguna: Makiling National Scout Reservation, Makiling Botanic Gardens, TDI- Magdalena,  Liliw (the shoe capital of Laguna),  VOH Christian School in Puypuy, Bay, and Enchanted Kingdom. (See pictures of the Tour 2 group below).

Staff on Tour 3 went to Luneta, Divisoria, the Kaibigan Community Center in Pasay City, and were the first of the CCT staff to arrive at Enchanted Kingdom.

"Praise the Lord na hindi nasiraan ang mga bus," Rhea said.  Nine buses were hired for the tour that started at 5 in the morning of January 7 and ended at about 10:30 that night.
